Junction camping
Getting there: This campground is located in Wooroonooran National Park, 41.5 km from Atherton.
From Atherton follow Gordonvale Atherton Rd east for about 16 km. Turn right onto Lake Barrine Rd and continue for 4.5 km as it becomes Malanda Lake Barrine Rd. Take the road for 2 km and turn left onto Topaz Rd, in approximately 10 km turn left onto Old Cairns Track. Drive for 0.5 km and then turn right onto Gourka Rd. Take the road for about 8.5 km.
Access: 2WD. The route includes unsealed roads.
Stay: Tent camping. Walk to campsite from parking.
Facilities: Bring your own firewood and drinking water.
Fees and booking: Camping - $5 per adult/per night. Car entry - free.
