Monk’s Tank
Getting there: This campground is located in Idalia National Park, 213 km from Blackall.
From Blackall follow Isisford Blackall Rd west for about 43.5 km. Turn left onto Blackall Emmet Rd and drive for another 68 km as it becomes Emmet Yaraka Rd take the road for 6.5 km as it becomes Yaraka Emmet Rd. Follow for about 30 km. Turn left and drive for about 65 km.
Access: 4WD.
Stay: Car, tent camping.
Facilities: Bring your own firewood and drinking water.
Fees and booking: Camping - $5 per adult/ per night. Car entry - free.
