Mount Wood Camp Area
Getting there: This campground is located in Sturt National Park, 360 km from Broken Hill.
Follow Silver City Hwy north for about 334 km. Turn right onto Wanaaring Tibooburra Rd. Take the road for another 24.5 km. Turn left on The Loop Rd and continue for about 1.5 km. The camp area will be on your right.
Access: 2WD.The route includes unsealed roads passable only by 4WD in wet weather.
Stay: Caravan, car, camping trailer, tent camping.
Facilities: Pit toilets, picnic tables, gas/electric barbecues. Bring your own drinking water.
Fees and booking: Camping - $5/$3 per adult/child per night. Car entry – $7 per day.
