Lake Cawndilla Camp
Getting there: This campground is located in Kinchega National Park, 134.5 km from Broken Hill.
Drive Menindee Rd southeast for about 111.5 km. Turn right on Nora St and follow for another 6 km Turn left toward Old Pooncarie Rd and take the Old Pooncarie Rd for 10 km. Turn right toward Lake Cawndilla, continue for another 7 km.
Access: 2WD. The route includes unsealed roads passable only by 4WD in wet weather.
Stay: Caravan, car, camping trailer, tent camping.
Facilities: Pit toilets, wood/gas/electric barbecues. Bring your own firewood and drinking water.
Fees and booking: Camping - $5/$3 per adult/child per night. Car entry – $7 per day.
