Kings Plains Creek Camp Ground
Getting there: This campground is located in Kings Plains National Park, 48 km from Inverell.
From Inverell follow Ashford Rd northeast. In approximately 5.5 km turn right toward Poolbrook Rd. Take the direction for about 14 km and then turn right at Poolbrook Rd, drive for about 10 km. Turn right on Wean Trail in approximately 3 km turn left on Weean Creek Firetrail. Take the road for 2.5 km. Then turn left toward Three Waterholes Firetrail and drive for another 12 km. Turn right on Waterholes Firetrail and continue for about 1 km.
Access: 2WD. The route includes unsealed roads passable only by 4WD in wet weather.
Stay: Tent camping. Short walk to campsite from parking
Facilities: Pit toilets, picnic tables. Bring your own firewood and drinking water.
Fees and booking: Camping - free . Car entry - free.
