Plateau Beech Camping Ground
Getting there: This campground is located in Werrikimbe National Park, 82.2 km from Wauchope. Follow Oxley Hwy west for about 47 km. At Yarras turn right on Forbes River Rd. Follow Forbes River Rd for 16.9 km then turn right to stay on road. Drive for 1 km as it becomes Cockerawombeeba Rd. Take the road for another 14.9 km, then turn left at North Plateau Rd and continue for about 2.6 km.
Access: 4WD. The route includes unsealed roads.
Stay: Tent camping. Short walk to campsite from parking.
Facilities: Pit toilets, picnic tables, wood barbecues. Bring your own firewood and drinking water.
